KyberSense: Biologically Inspired Advanced Sensor Modules (Roadmap planning In progress)
Project type
Advanced Sensor Modules
Date
July 2026
Location
Global
Modular, bio-inspired sensor front-ends that bring super-sampling, sensor fusion, and analog dynamics to the edge. Ready for classical ANNs or next generation of Nerual circuitry.
What you get:
Swappable modules (e.g., a “Biological Eye”: low-res photoreceptor array + lens; optional stereo for super-sampling and motion cues). Use standalone or integrate with the Kyber Acquire Kit.
Design drivers:
- Bio-inspired transduction (membrane-like behavior, adaptation, thresholding)
- Super-sampling (stereo/temporal combining for effective higher resolution)
- Sensor fusion arrays (multi-modal boards and combiners)
- Time-domain encoding (edges/phase/spike-style cues for low-power features)
- Neuromorphic preprocessing (front-end filters, local reflex logic)
- Low-power analog front-ends (dynamic range, noise, robustness)
Access:
Public Git repos for selected modules (schematics, firmware stubs, data schemas, example notebooks) under a non-commercial license; licensed modules for advanced features with premium docs and support. Learning hub with EE/biology/physics primers, labs, and classroom materials.
Status & CTA:
Roadmap planning In progress. Educator bundles and pilot cohorts forming.
